Big Data, Social Networks and the Cloud, so much talk about the cloud these days, it seems like everything is moving towards it. But how can you make sense of it all? What can you learn from all of these? James Crane-Baker of SmogFarm is here to discuss with us, how their company is using these three trends to pluck out some really interesting data, data you wouldn’t think possible to get from computers. A retired equity trader, James Crane-Baker is the founder of the recently acquired and co-founder of SmogFarm, a new technology that processes millions of tweets per day, and produces near real-time assessments of values for 12 emotions at a given hour or day of the week using Natural Language Processing methods.
