Unless you are talking about your inbox’s capacity.  You can either pay your email provider for more disk storage or incorporate the cloud into your file management strategy.  Sending emails with giant attachments gets old quick – and expensive if you are paying by the bit. Instead of ducking, put those attachments in the cloud.

Brian Curry from YouSendIt will help you corral your inbox quota using the cloud to get those attachments under control.  Find out more on the SHOW PAGE.  If you have an overloaded inbox, this is the show for you. We’ll also give you two great reasons to go to Vegas in May – Interop and CPM 2010 West.

If you use Gmail, your free producer tip of the week is to take Gmail’s priority inbox to the next step using the ‘Super Nick Email System’. Never look at an email more than twice again.

Finding the sweet spot

The sports’ metaphor about the ‘sweet spot’ is being extended to your gadgets this weekend.  Computers, phones and USB grills can all be bought when they first come out, but there is an ‘early adopter’ tax.  And you might get a great deal on a laser disc player but won’t find the newest releases on Amazon or have luck at a Redbox.  Somewhere in the middle is the Goldilocks sweet spot – not too high, not too low.

Find out more about the Sweet Spot on the SHOW PAGE.

Other tech news this week includes Comcast and NBC merging to own both Park Place and Boardwalk (along with most of the Railroads), Google Voice will port your number and other signs of the apocalypse to be covered in the Week In Review.

Here are some stories to keep you busy until we are on this Sunday at 5pm EST | 3pm MST.

Wait. What Happened?

Tom went to CES is what happened.  While he was there, he battled a cold to travel into the deepest depths of the North and South Halls.  This week, we have our first show coming out of the event. Check out the SHOW PAGE for the entire scoop.

Where was the producer all weekend?  I spent the weekend at Nashville GiveCamp – an event sponsored by Microsoft.  Read more about that on the national GiveCamp site or the local site for the event I attended.

We are excited to have Gabe Goldberg back on January 23 to talk about ‘Buying Tech at the Sweet Spot’ – be sure to put that on your calendar.

Do you CES what we CES?

Each year the technology industry makes a pilgrimage to the desert.  The International Consumer Electronics Show is [insert a “doesn’t get any bigger than this”] metaphor.  Tom is on the floor as I type …or he is on a plane …I don’t handle that …anyway, Tom is at CES as far as you are concerned.

So, what are you going to do while I put together a great CES show?  Listen to a new Week in Review and and an encore presentation of our Contingency Planning & Management 2010 coverage. Find out more and get Week In Review links on the SHOW PAGE.
